On this day in 1880, Greenwich Mean Time was adopted. In 1921, the eight White Sox players were acquitted of throwing the World Series. In 1971, the astronauts of Apollo 15 were driving around on the moon. And on this day in 1980, my mother-in-law was giving birth to the most wonderful man in the world. Happy birthday, husband.

1 I think you're probably on safe ground with this particular post, Sarah. Heh. In truth, this is your blog, and you can post anything you darn well want to! Oh, for the record, I never took what you posted as blaming it all on the women -- even before your clarification posts. I thought you were perfectly clear from the start. Happy birthday to your husband. It is my hope that you both have a wonderful time celebrating this day.
