KNITTING QUEEN
I almost started to write "
This will be me someday!", but then I realized that it's already me. I knit about four hours a night too!

So, what do you make with all those hours of knitting...?

Well, I'd love to show you, but everything I've been making for the past six months are presents for people who read my blog. I can't show any of my work! But I started a scarf for myself last night, so I'll show it when I get a little deeper into the pattern.

Is it a soothing experience. I hear that it is.

Oh, Hud, you don't know the half of it. Some people have the drugs, others have the booze...I have the knitting.

I went through a time from about mid-teens to early twenties where I did tons of cross-stitch and embroidery. It got me through some really tough times. It's soothing, and you end up with such a feeling of productivity and satisfaction from creating something of beauty/usefulness.
Of course, Sarah, we all know that only old fogies knit!
