3 Please don't let it go to your head. I read your work as kinda, sorta letters from a friend who I don't write back to. Well, not often, anyway. But if you start getting a swelled head about the people who do enjoy your writing, then you'll start trying to be "meaningful". And then I'll start feeling like I didn't understand anything that you wrote and maybe I wasn't really smart enough or good enough to be reading your stuff. And that will make me unhappy and I will stop reading and if everybody does that, then you'll be back to a core audience of ... ? So don't worry about who is reading. Just keep doing what you been doing. Cheers.
